Also
known as "Interaction Management", these courses provide
instruction for both supervisors and employees. Supervisors can
gain skills in handling discussions with employees on a variety
of topics such as improving performance, motivating, delegating,
work planning, and adapting to change. Employees may take advantage
of programs which help them, for example, deliver better customer
service, contribute more fully to team efforts and effectively participate
in meetings.
30 of these
courses can be taken as web-supported programs (part online/part
classroom, in a format called "learning labs") which cut
down substantially on classroom time.
This training
is offered throughout state government via an enterprise-wide license.
Most state agencies participate in sharing the license and providing
the training. Contact your training coordinator to see if your agency
has chosen to make this training available to you.
