Description: This course is a very quick review of issues critical to a new supervisor's success.   It covers essential information related to policies and liability, dealing with people, and managing the transition to supervision. 

"Basic Training for New Supervisors" provides VERY GENERAL information to be used by new supervisors the first few weeks on the job, and is offered with the understanding that agencies will provide new supervisors with more in-depth classroom training within their first few months of assuming a supervisory role.

Target audience: New supervisors

Program length: 10 topics, each of which takes 15-25 minutes to complete. (Once you register the course will always be available to you. You do not have to complete all the topics at once.)
